Gabelli Studio has been a cornerstone of the Verona business district for the past 25 years. Originally started by Gene and Lauren Gabelli it is now presently owned by John Bacolo. Under the ownership of John and Gene, Gabelli Studio has photographed some of New Jerseys most elite weddings and social events. John Bacolo honed his ethnographic photography skills while studying at the School of Visual Arts and The International Center for Photography. While photographing life's most precious memories in New Jersey, John has traveled the country and the world to photograph ordinary people living extraordinary lives. John Bacolo used his photographic skills while traveling the America west to document a series of children's books on Native American life. More recently John’s travels have taken him high into the Andean mountains documenting the lives of Inca textile weavers. John’s wedding and travel photographs have been published world wide including Professional Photographer, Der Spiegel, National Geographic and in National Geographic’s Explorers Hall.
The photographers of Gabelli Studio have won numerous awards such as Fuji Masterpiece, Fassbender, and Kodak’s Court of Honor.
